Carbonocero works the same way as the rest of the initiatives, with the difference that we are in Latin America, and emission reduction projects will be ahead in our countries. We don't have to search for projects in developing countries, we are there and that is why we can function as allies of other organizations from northern countries.

Through Carbonocero, companies or individuals can genuinely reduce their CO2 emissions, giving the opportunity to help small communities in the region to implement initiatives of clean and renewable energy or energy efficiency, as well as afforestation and native forest management with those funds.

Carbonocero services can extend to enterprises, Governments, various organizations and particulars, to advise and certify reductions in other areas besides aero commercial flights, such as transportation industries in general, organization of events, consumption of fuel and energy, etc.

Plan21 is an organization that aims to strengthen the initiative based on a policy of strategic alliances with local organizations in each country in Latin America.

In this sense the more advanced cases are Argentina and Ecuador. In the Central American region we have the support of our partners in the University for international cooperation of Costa Rica.

One hand will promote actions to stimulate awareness of aero commercial flights passengers and on the other hand will identify, design and execute projects in Latin American countries.

One of the greatest strengths of Plan21 is the participating in regional and international processes such as co-founder of the sustainable tourism in the Americas and only Member for Latin America of the directive Board of the international system of accreditation sustainable tourism certification network, enabling us to be in contact with many organizations that can accompany us in the region.

We have a network of Villages Carbonocero, committed to actions of emission reduction or improved uptake of CO2, due to our body of work in communities through our Protected Villages Program.

Municipalities in Argentina are Manzano Amargo, Villa del Nahueve, Las Ovejas, El Chocón and Colonia Pellegrini, and the main novelty is the recent incorporation of nationality siona province of Sucumbios in the Ecuadorian Amazon, which will allow us to work with one of the five originating in that region.

On the other hand we have a team of great experience in the Protocol of Kyoto and large regional and international recognition in the field of sustainable tourism, clean development mechanism projects including associated environmental management and a robust policy of alliances for work in the region.
